As a director, Seema Pahwa, in her film ‘Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, shows the mirror of showy affection, imposed duties, prejudices, expectations, and duty seen in most families.

After the death of Ramprasad Bhargava, a family of 20 people, including his six sons, gather in the house. The sons have their own struggles. The daughters also did not get what they wanted from life.

Ramprasad Bhargava could not even openly express his mind to his long and wide family. As a result, his children received complaints from him throughout his life. Actually, such situations arise here due to their mutual communication gap. This is probably the reality of every common Indian family. Why is the head of the family not knowing why he has been openly expressing love to his children.

However, in this Surat too, all the children of Ramprasad Bhargava gather their ancestral houses from different cities. Instead of paying an emotional tribute to his father, there is debate on what the father did not do for him. In this situation too, he has less concern for his mother.
However, the specialty of Seema Pahwa’s direction is that she has not allowed anyone side to become a villain. All seemed right in their own places. Things are the cause of the tribulation. Pahwa has definitely placed a critical approach on the daughters-in-law. She has appeared a bit self-conscious. The same is due to his prejudices regarding his in-laws. However, 13 days pass and everyone takes their lessons and travels to their respective workplaces.
There are a lot of situational comedies in the mourning atmosphere of the Bhargava family. Nothing seems to be imposed. Sagar Desai has justified the mood of the film with his music. Sudeep Sengupta’s camera captures the hidden things happening in such families.
All the artists including Supriya Pathak, Manoj Pahwa, Ninad Kamath, Parambrat Chattopadhyay, Deepika Amin, Brijendra Kala, Mahesh Sharma, Rajendra Gupta, Vikrant Massey, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vineet Kumar, Sadia Siddiqui, Divya Jagdale, Deepika Amin are the actors. All have played the role of family members of Ramprasad Bhargava. Naseeruddin Shah himself cameo as Ramprasad.
Seema Pahwa has created comedy, drama, and tragedy in a different atmosphere for the audience. People have been watching films of feel-good, jewelry-laden saas-bahu from Rajshri and Dharma Productions till now, in the new year, Bari is now going to see this film under the banner of Manish Mundra. Despite the army of actors, the film has a lot of tightness.
